This week Microsoft announced the availability of the fourth platform preview of its Internet Explorer 10. The release is now available for developers to download and use with the Developer Preview pre-beta release of the Windows 8 operating system.
According to the IE blog, this release “adds even more support for HTML5 technologies, enabling richer Web applications with significantly improved performance” including support for JavaScript typed arrays, the addition of the CSS user-select property, support for HTML5 video text captioning, and support for CORS.
