DevExpress.com is proud to announce the immediate availability of its newly added Silverlight and WPF Report Viewer Control. This new Report Viewer Control renders reports created with the award-winning DevExpress Reporting System and prints natively within any Silverlight and WPF application.

XtraReports was engineered to help you create stunning reports for your end-users in the shortest possible time – yet maintain all the capabilities you’ve come to expect from today’s most powerful reporting solutions. With full Microsoft Visual Studio .NET integration, XtraReports Suite allows you to build reports in the same exact way you build a typical Windows Forms application. XtraReports uses the same code editor (C#, VB.NET or J#), the same Property Grid, the same component Toolbox, the same alignment toolbar, and ALL available Visual Studio IDE resources.

XtraReports classes persist in exactly the same way as your Windows .NET classes, so there is no need for convoluted external file types. That’s right, XtraReports only needs standard code files, which makes deployment a breeze for you and your team.

The Report Viewer Control can render and print any report type built using the DevExpress XtraReports Suite. Supported types include banded reports, master-detail reports, mail merge reports, side-by-side reports, label reports, multi-column reports and merged reports. Sub-reports are also fully supported.

The DevExpress Report Viewer for Silverlight and WPF comes with fully customizable toolbars to control document actions like Zooming, Paging, Printing and Exporting. A raw document viewer is also available for building a custom UI.

The XtraReports Suite fully supports the new Microsoft IDE providing the same feature set as that found in previous versions. You can create new reports using templates available through the Add New Item dialog, use our fully-integrated report designer with native toolbars and service windows, view HTML output and preview reports within the IDE.
