Microsoft recently released Windows Phone 7.5, also known as Mango, the latest update to its Windows Phone operating system. The hacking community this week found a way to allow users–even non-developers–to upgrade their own devices to Mango.

To upgrade the phone, a user first backs up their phone, and must already be upgraded to at least the NoDo release. Then they have to install the Windows Phone Support Tool. WindowsPhoneHacker.com has simplified the process by creating an easy-to-use tool that does most of these tasks for the user.
