Beta 1 release candidates for Indigo and Avalon are now available for download at the Microsoft Download Center: Included in this beta 1 release candidate is the first preview of “InfoCard,” the code name for technology aimed at making the end users digital identity experience simpler and safer. This beta will allow you to experiment with building applications using the Avalon, Indigo and InfoCard technologies.
Avalon is the new presentation subsystem for windows. Indigo is a set of Web services technologies, and as already mentioned, InfoCard is the code name for the digital identity management software.
