Docker today not only announced the release of Docker 1.0, but they also announced a new program of enterprise support designed for building, shipping, and running distributed applications leveraging the open platform. And in addition to all this great news, as if that wasn’t enough, Microsoft announced Azure support for using Docker as they have updated its command-line interface tools in Azure which enables users to easily create Docker-enabled virtual machines on Azure. Users can now manage VMs using the Docker client which was also demonstrated at DockerCon today. Read the full details of the new release here.
