Wireless communication at the speed of light between a computer’s processor and its memory. That is interesting! It has the potential to speed up computers by avoiding the time cost to send information through the copper wires used today. Additionally, it avoids road blocks related to lots of cores trying to access the memory through a limited bus. This is exactly what Sun Microsystems is working to create.
