For many years now voice recognition technology has been nothing short of a novelty for most, and only because it never really worked as one would have hoped. But all that is changing now by using the computational power The Cloud. It is now more usable and Microsoft will make it even better in the very near future. Microsoft hosts many services however speech recognition uses one of the largest cloud systems the software giant has to offer and many companies use the service today such as Orbitz and American Airlines, as well as the technology that lets mobile Bing users search by voice and Ford Sync users ask for directions. Microsoft is now at the leading edge with the acquisition of a company called “Tellme’.
