Microsoft’s announcement states that a projected investment of nearly $900 million, based on the individual prices of the Office 365 subscriptions, this is Microsoft’s largest scale education agreement in the history of the software giant. The program will begin on December 1st and offers students who sign up for the service access to Office 365 software applications like Word, PowerPoint and Excel on up to five devices, including tablets and smartphones.
