At the SAE Convergence 2010 event this week, Microsoft announced that their new Windows Embedded Automotive 7 is currently available partners. New new OS offers touch input, improved speech commands, upgraded mapping, navigation, third-party applications and of course music. The integrated Silverlight engine will allow their partners to create 2D and 3D graphics on their desktops and quickly deploy them in the automotive platform.
