Microsoft Works to Entice ASP.NET Developers to Azure

There are many changes occurring behind the scenes at Microsoft lately, with Scott Guthrie this month taking over management of the Azure Application Platform team. The company hopes to entice ASP.NET developers into using Azure by leveraging their investment in .NET programming.


Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, wasn’t happy with the number of .NET developers who moved to Azure in its first year, as the easy migration from ASP.NET apps to the Azure cloud hasn’t been enough to encourage developers.
