Microsoft will be spending half a billion dollars to open a new data storage center in Virginia. According to Virginia governor’s office, the facility will utlize the latest modular, fouth-gen approach, and will open near the town of Boydton, Virginia. For investors, it’s a sign that Microsoft is working to add capacity for its Azure, Windows Live and other hosted services.
