While it may not be the first Sliding Tablet out there, it is the first to run Microsoft Windows 7 operating system and for that, it puts this tablet into a class all its own. The concept tablet is similar to the Eee Pad Slider from Asus which was just announced yesterday. The HTC Shift has been out for years now however the Shift ran Windows Mobile which probably contributed to its lack of success. The new Samsung Sliding Tablet is sure to open up a new market for Windows 7.
