Windows Phone 7 Market-Share Stats, Not Looking Good

NPD Group, a technology research firm, just released smartphone market share numbers for the fourth quarter of 2010. The Windows Phone 7 market share reached only 2 percent. Tied with Palm’s WebOS and lagging behind Windows Mobile which came in at 4 percent of the share. RIM’s BlackBerry stood firm at 19 percent, Apple’s iOS also shared 19 percent and current market-leader is the Google Android with a whopping 53 percent share of the smartphone market.
