Microsoft Windows Phone 7 users have always tended to be early adopters of new technology. A recent study has shown that approximately four percent of Windows Phone 7 users are already running the Mango update on their devices.

From the study, one percent of those users are running Mango Beta 2, and the rest are running the initial beta release of the upgrade. The most popular device for Windows Phone 7 users is the Samsung Focus, which is only available in the United States, with the HTC HD7 coming in second.
